Directions to Ripley Falls: Take Rt. 302 to Hart's Location. You will see the sign right on Rt. 302 (see photos). Follow the road to the top of the steep hill. Park and walk up trail. Carefully cross railroad tracks to continue up the trail to Ripley Falls.

Details About Ripley Falls: The trail to Ripley Falls can be summed up in 2 words: Roots and Rocks. The trail is not maintained and narrow is many spots. But I'm not complaining! Make sure you wear good boots. We went on a dry day and there was some minor muddy spots. There is also some steep edges along the trail to the Kendron Flume descending from Ripley Falls. You can hear the water rushing down Kendron Flume for almost the entire hike. When the sound of the rushing water suddenly increases, you will know you have arrived at Ripley Falls. Even though this trail is a little on the rough side, it's short and certainly worth the hike as the waterfall is beautiful.
