Details
About Lower Falls: Lower Falls is well
marked, has a nice parking area, picnic area, and bathrooms. Lower Falls is a
popular swimming area in the Summer months and it can get very busy
here. If you wish to enjoy the falls, best times are on weekdays in
the Spring or late Fall after the
Fall
Foliage Season. It is hard to photograph this waterfall during
the summer months unless you intend on photographing the swimmers
here. Lower Falls usually has decent water flow, even in the drier
months of Summer. If you want to see Lower Falls with heavier water
flow, stop by in the Spring during the Winter snow melt when the
Swift River lives up to it's name.
Weddings at Lower Falls:
Lower Falls may be one of the best waterfalls in New
Hampshire for a wedding. It's close to the parking area and very
scenically located in the White Mountain National Forest. The ease of
access, parking and beauty make this worthy of putting on your list
of waterfalls to consider for your outdoor NH wedding.
