Directions to Kinsman
Falls: Take I-93 to Lincoln NH. I-93 runs through
Franconia Notch State Park. Park at the well-marked lot for the Basin/ Follow
signs for the Basin until you see the sign for Kinsman Falls.
Description of
Kinsman Falls: Kinsman Falls is an easy hike with lots of
root ladders. It follows the stream the entire hike up the mountain,
so will get to see many other unnamed cascades and waterfalls along
this hike.
When you arrive at Kinsman Falls, there is a sign.
You will find yourself standing along a steep hill looking down at
the waterfall. If you would like to get a little closer, back up
just about 15' or so and walk around the left side of the large
bolder for an easier route to the base of Kinsman Falls.
