As a writer/reporter, you will have special privileges, such as:

Adding links in your reports that will appear on our site as active links.
Get exposure for your business or businesses that you want to promote here in NH.
Excellent name exposure as a writer.
You will also get to see NH in a much different way. You will find yourself paying more attention to details, making your NH trips much more enjoyable!

Requirements:

You do not have to be a professional writer to submit articles to NHTourGuide.com! A good writer/reporter for NHTourGuide.com will be honest, will only write or report about what they know for sure and not guess. All topics will be kept to places in New Hampshire. Most importantly, remember that we are here to inform the public, this is our top priority! "Plugging" your name or business is not our priority, but as promised, it can be done in your article as long as every report your write is not just about the business. Articles must be original writings (not copied from another website either with or without permission). An article will also contain a very specific topic, like a drive down the Kancamagus Highway, or a snowmobile trip to Berlin, NH. Or a ski trip to Cannon Mountain. It's ok to mention things that you came across in the immediate area, as long as the report has a main topic. Reports should also contain at least 2 images about the topic, should be well written with proper grammar (spell check performed) and should contain a lot of detailed information. In past reports, we have added notes at the end of reports for: "The Good," "The Bad," and "The Ugly." which you can also add to your report if desired. It gives readers a quick outline of your report for reference. Many people print the report for future reference when this information is made available.

Submitting a Report:

With every report you send, please make sure your name and report title appears at the TOP of the report. Attach images to email (for large images, only send one image per email as the email may fail if over 2 megabytes). It is best to send images under 50kb each if possible, If not, we will edit the image to reduce the file size for you. Email your reports to: travel@nhtourguide.com

The more reports you write, you more credibility you will receive and your account will be upgraded at every 25 reports as follows:

1-24 reports: New Reporter
25-49 reports: Level II Reporter
50-74 reports: Level III Reporter
75-99 reports: Advanced Reporter
100 or more: Senior Reporter

Please note that we reserve the right to refuse your article (if it does not match our requirements for example), editing (for search result purposes), or remove your article without notice (if found to be violating our requirements, or ethics).
