Storyland are Alice and Wonderland Tea Cup (which are giant tea cups
that you can spin around), Crazy Barn (which is a barn replica that
rises off the ground and spins around) and Bamboo Cutes (Where you
get totally soaked). The Royal Circus is the most popular show
at Storyland. Everybody loves the circus no matter how old or
young you are. The circus shows run at noon, 2pm and 4pm.

Santa’s Village. located in Jefferson NH has something for everyone.
They are open select days in May, June, September, October, November
and December. They are open every day July and August.
The hours they are open depend on the season. It feels like
Christmas year round at Santa’s Village. The Peppermint Twist
is my favorite ride. I am not sure why it is called a twist
because it is actually a boat that is a roller coaster. The
Himalaya is my favorite ride wherever I go. If you like fast
rides, you will love the Himalaya. If you like rides that get
you wet, then the Yule Log Flume is the perfect ride for you.
The
admission prices are as follows: $24 for ages 4 and up, $22
for senior citizens and ages 3 and under is free.
Whales
Tale Waterpark Lincoln, NH
Whales Tale Waterpark is located in the heart of Lincoln. It
was recently named “Best in class Water Park in America” by Aquatics
International Magazine. If you go to Whales Tale, you have to
check out “Eye of the Storm.” You feel like you are in the
center of a hurricane. You go through this dark area before
you are thrusted back into the eye of the storm. And let me
tell you, you go fast. Other great water rides are Harpoon
Express which is 400 feet long and 7 feet wide. It is like
riding a bobsled except you are on water. The Plunge is a lot
of fun too. It is a very fast plunge down. If relaxing
in the water is more your thing, then the giant wave pool is the
perfect solution.
Whales
Tale is open June 8th- Labor Day. The hours vary according to
the season. Admission is free for those under the age of 3 and
over the age of 70. Admission prices vary by season.

Canobie
Lake Park Salem, NH
Canobie Lake Park is located in Salem. I remember my aunt and
uncle taking me there when I was a kid and I took my kids there when
they were small. It is amazing how much it has changed and
expanded over the years. My favorite ride then and now is the
Crazy Cups. They are just like the tea cups. The Boston
Tea Party is a wild and wet log ride. The Frisbee is a newer
ride and it is fun but I have to tell you it is not for the faint of
heart. You know how you throw a Frisbee back and forth and it spins?
Well yeah, that is what you are doing on this ride. You are
hanging from a pendulum, swinging back and forth and spinning around
very fast.
Canobie
Lake is open every day for the months of July and August and select
days for the months of May, June and September. The hours of
operation depend on the season.
Rates
are $30 for general admission, except under 48 inches and over the
age of 60 are $21 and under 3 are free.
