Fishing in The Suncook Lakes:
The Suncook Lakes in NH are great for fishing. The lakes are stocked
with rainbow trout annually. The NH Fish and Game stock
the Suncook Lakes with approx. 750 Rainbow Trout. The average fish
weight is about 3/4 of a pound. The best times to fish for Rainbow
Trout are Spring and Fall during cool water temperatures.
Other fish include: Yellow Perch, White Perch, Chain Pickerel, Large
Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Hornpout (catfish), and Crappies.
Public Boat Launch and Access at the Suncook Lakes
There is a public boat ramp on Narrows Rd at the bridge. The boat
ramp is on the Upper Suncook Lake side of the bridge. Lower Suncook
Lake is accessible by going under the bridge. The bridge is very low
and extreme caution must be used to access Lower Suncook Lake by the
public boat ramp. The bridge trusses are about 45-55 inches above
the surface of the water depending on the water level of the lakes.
Many smaller boats can fit under the bridge.

Lake and Lower Suncook Lake both have
