Orchard is open weekends and holidays, Labor Day through Columbus Day,
from 10am-5pm, It is the only pick your own orchard in the Conways.
You are welcome to bring a picnic as well as your own containers in
which to put the apples. The answering machine is updated frequently
as to which varieties are available. If you need directions, we will

Hill Apple Orchard is family owned by the Larocque’s. The
orchard itself has been active since the 1700’s. Carter Hill
carries over 10 different types of apples throughout the fall season
including Empire, Macoun and Paula Red. If you have an
adventurous side, you are welcome to pick your own apples from Labor
Day through mid-October. Besides apples, Carter Hill also
carries fresh pears, plums, peaches, cantaloupes, watermelon,
raspberries and blueberries.

Demeritt Hill Farm is open from September through December from
9am-6pm. Demeritt Hill carries several varieties of apples
including Cortland, Granny Smith, Kendall and Spencer. In
addition to apples, the farm is also well known for their bakery
with fresh baked goodies such as pumpkin and peach pies, apple cider
doughnuts, sugar cookies, oatmeal raisin brownies, cinnamon raisin
bread, apple cinnamon muffins and peanut butter fudge.

Hill Orchards is set on 80 acres of orchards and tree farm that was
run by the Leadbeater Family from the 1930’s until 2008. The
Bassett Family has been running the orchards ever since. Gould
Hill has over 80 varieties of apples plus they have a great
selection of peaches, nectarines and plums that are all grown on the
grounds.

Hackleboro Orchards has been operating for 18 years. After
four years in operation, they also opened another location in the
quiet little town of Boscawen. Hackleboro is open daily
9am-6pm through Thanksgiving. During apples season, enjoy a
tractor ride through the orchard to pick your own apples.

are open July-October from 9am-5pm. The farm originally
operated as a dairy farm in 1917 and the first trees were planted in
1971. Some of the apples they produce are Paula Red,
Cortland’s and Empires. Besides apples, they also have a farm
stand where you can purchase homemade jams and jellies, mustards,
relishes, pickles, cheese, honey and maple products. Other
fruits they harvest include strawberries and blueberries as well as
tomatoes, corn, cucumbers and melons.

Delicious and Golden Delicious which make for great salads and
Cortland and Baldwin which are perfect for apple pies and
applesauce.

from 1pm to 5:30pm and weekends from 10am to 5:30pm. At McLeod
Brothers you can either pick your own NH apples or they have ready
picked apples for you to choose from such as Paula Red, Cortland,
Gala and Roxbury Russet. McLeod Brothers Orchards has been
family opened and operated for over 60 years.
