List of NH Restaurants
900 Degrees
50 Dow Street
Manchester, NH
603-641-0900
Entrees range from $11-$25
The
best margaritas in Manchester. I would have to say that this is my
favorite restaurant in Manchester. I love to sit in front of the
warm fireplace on a chilly fall night. My favorite pizza at 900
Degrees is the Tuscan Sun with signature sauce, fresh mozzarella
cheese, Romano cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh basil, artichoke
hearts and extra-virgin olive oil.
Asian Breeze
1328 Hooksett Road
Hooksett, NH
603-621-9298
This restaurant is totally different than any other Asian restaurant
I have been to. The aspect that makes it so unique is that they have
2 separate menus. One is your normal Chinese cuisine. The
other menu is little known recipes from China, Korea and Japan. I
highly recommend the Hunan Beef, pork friend rice and they have the
most delicious egg rolls. If you go for lunch, try the Chicken
Teriyaki Japanese Luncheon Box which comes with miso soup, salad,
tempura and rice.
Bedford Village Inn
2 Olde Bedford Way
Bedford, NH
1-800-852-1166
Entrees range from $18-$39
This
restaurant is a bit pricey but well worth the money. It is often
busy so I would recommend making reservations. I have a few
recommendations for dinner. I like the Pan Roasted Atlantic
Salmon and the Tea Smoked Long Island Duck Breast. I am not a huge
fan of salmon but this one was delicious. And don’t forget to save
room for dessert because their Warm Chocolate Molten Cake is out of
this world.
Brookstone Grille
Rte 111
Derry, NH
603-328-9250
Entrees range from $10-$30
I
have only eaten here once and it was a while ago now so I don’t have
a lot to go on. The Bacon Wrapped Maple Roasted Scallops are
delicious as an appetizer. For my entrée I had Lobster Ravioli. They
are lobster stuffed ravioli with leeks, bell peppers, snow peas and
mushrooms cooked in a ginger basil cream sauce. I highly recommend
their Lodi Zinfandel wine.
Buckley’s Great Steaks
438 Daniel Webster Highway
Merrimack, NH
603-424-0995
Entrees are from $11-$39
The absolute best place to eat steak. I like my steak as rare as can
be and Buckley’s cooks it to perfection. Here is what I recommend:
The Gorgonzola Rib Eye steak. It is a 14 ounce choice rib eye
with caramelized onions and Gorgonzola cooked in a red wine sauce.
Oh and the best part of the steak is that it is cooked on a wood
fired grill. Delicious!
C.R. Sparks
18 Kilton Road
Bedford, NH
603-647-7275
Entrees are $9 and up
A
nice restaurant with reasonable prices. I have a few recommendations
for you. First of all, go on a Thursday night because they have live
jazz music. I also recommend their brick oven pizza. It is
incredible.
Chen Yang Li
124 South River Road
Bedford, NH
603-641-6922
&
520 South Street
Bow, NH
603-228-8308
Entrees range from $9-$17
Very
reasonably priced. I am a huge fan of Chinese food and of all the
Chinese restaurant I have been to this one is one of the best. I
have gotten their Moo Goo Gai Pan and it was delicious. The luncheon
specials come with soup and rice. For dinner, I would recommend the
Crispy Sesame Chicken which is chicken cubes dipped in lotus flour
and cooked in a sesame sauce.
The Coliseum Restaurant
264 North Broadway
Salem, NH
603-898-1190
Entrees are $15-$25
Another
restaurant that is a bit pricey but still well worth it. The
Coliseum Restaurant serves authentic Italian food. I am use to
making spaghetti at home with spaghetti sauce from a can so the
first time I ate here, I was awe-struck. I have no idea what to even
order but the menu was so easy to read and I choose the spaghetti
with homemade sausage. It was delicious. My husband had
the Linguini Alla Frutti de Mare which is lobster, shrimp and clams
sautéed with plum tomatoes and onions in a marina sauce. It
was really good.
The Green Martini
Pleasant Street Extension
Concord, NH
603-223-6672
One
of my favorite places to eat in Concord. It is such a fun
atmosphere. They have some of the greatest live entertainment
anywhere. From open mic night to live Dj’s to acoustic musicians,
there is something for everyone and every musical taste. They
also have the best chicken wings in town. I had the Teriyaki wings
and they were to die for. For dinner, I recommend the California
Sandwich which is grilled chicken breast with guacamole and Swiss
cheese. They really don’t have an extensive menu. Basically they
serve appetizers, burgers, sandwiches and salads.
Mile Away Restaurant
52 Federal Hill Road
Milford, NH
603-673-3904
Entrees range from $18-$26
I
highly recommend the Baked Stuffed Shrimp. It is out of this world.
The restaurant is warm and friendly and has a beautiful fireplace.
Yes I have a thing for fireplaces as you can tell by my past
articles. My mom had the Maple Salmon. Again I am not a big fan of
salmon but my mom loved it.
