I have been here for both lunch
and dinner and both are fabulous.
I suggest the Wild Salmon
encrusted with panki and served with vegetable risotto and ginger
scallions buerre blanc.

Bubbas won the 2008 People’s Choice
Award at the Sunapee Harbor Chowder Fest for their seafood chowder.
I have never personally tried
their chowder by I have had some amazing food at Bubba’s.
If you like seafood, you need to try
the seafood pie that is made with shrimp and scallops cooked in a
garlic and lobster sauce and topped with crumb topping.
If you are a past lover, try the
Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo.
For pizza lovers, Bubba’s Brick
Oven pizza can’t be beat.

I have only been here one and it was
for lunch.
I had the Canoe Burger which is
topped with apple bacon, cheddar cheese and caramelized onion.
It comes with French fries and a
pickle.
It was very good.

with a warm atmosphere.
The restaurant does not have a
license to serve liquor so you have to bring your own.
I had their Lamb Shanks which
were amazing.

I have been here for lunch recently on
a leaf peeping venture.
Garwoods has an amazing view of
Wolfeboro Bay.
I was so hungry so I had a whole
four course meal complete with appetizer, soup, salad and entrée.
For an appetizer I had Nachos.
The Nachos had different colored
tortilla chips with salsa, black beans, tomatoes, Monterrey Jack
cheese, black olives, guacamole and sour cream.
The Lobster Bisque was out of
this world.
I am a big salad fan so I had
the house salad which consisted of greens, tomato and onion.
For the main lunch meal, I had
the Tuna Melt Panini.
I just love Panini’s.

I am sure everyone has probably eaten
at Hart’s Turkey Farm at some point in their lives.
Harts is a popular restaurant in
New Hampshire.
The Hot Turkey Sandwich is my
favorite entrée.
It is an open faced sandwich on
your choice of breads with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce,
vegetable, gravy and your choice of rice pilaf or potato.

Saturday or Sunday morning and head over to Heritage Farms for
breakfast.
The restaurant has a rustic
décor.

Lake Opechee Inn and Spa.
I found their dinner menu a bit
pricey but well worth it.
They have a large selection of
house wines.
My husband and I went here as a
special treat for our anniversary.
I had the 28 ounce Porterhouse
steak and my husband had the Stuffed Chicken Breast.
Both were very good and the
steak was cooked to perfection.
They have a nice selection of
side to choose from such as sweet potato fries, cheddar mashed
potatoes, green beans and asparagus.

inside the Inn on Newfound Lake.
The Boston Globe named it “one
of the five best restaurants in New Hampshire.”
The Shrimp and Scallop Stir Fry
is delicious.
The shrimps and scallops are
cooked with fresh garlic, ginger and vegetables.

Great food but as I mentioned above, it
is rather pricey.
So this restaurant would be
great for a birthday or anniversary celebration.
But definitely worth the money.
I had the Cajun Pork Tenderloin.
Just envision it:
Pan seared seasoned pork, sliced
and served with dreamy Dijon peppercorn sauce.

This place rocks.
I love Mexican food and at Crazy
Gringo’s you get a huge plate of great Mexican food.
They have live entertainment and
Ladies Night on Wednesday evening.
Their enchiladas are the best.
You get a choice of filing for
your enchiladas.
I had the chicken, tomatoes and
jalapenos.
The enchiladas are baked and
topped with enchilada sauce and cheese.

My mom loves Thai food so she brought
me here for my birthday.
I had never had Thai food
before.
It smelled so good when you walk
into the restaurant.
My mom ordered the Emerald Plate
which was a vegetable plate consisting of snow peas, carrots,
steamed broccoli and baby corn topped with peanut sauce.
I tried it and it was delicious.
I ordered the Paradise Plate
which was delicious.
It is stir fried chicken and
shrimp with carrots, onions, string beans, snow peas and cashew nut.
