Squam Covered Bridge is located on River St in Ashland, NH and
crosses Squam River at the South end of Little Squam Lake in Ashland

Squam Covered Bridge was built in 1990 and formally dedicated on
July 1, 1990. Squam Bridge is listed in the World Guide of Covered
Bridges (WGCB), number 29-05-112, and is new Hampshire covered
bridge #65.
Squam Bridge construction was funded by over 500 people and
companies that donated money to build the bridge as well as bake
sales and dinners that were held to benefit the building of Squam
Covered Bridge. The town of Ashland put up $35,000 towards the new
bridge.
