Keniston covered bridge is located on Bridge St in Andover NH, GPS
coordinates: N43.434993, W71.836078.
The Keniston covered bridge was built in 1882 an dis listed in the
World Guide of Covered Bridges (WGCB), number 29-02-02, and is New
Hampshire covered bridge #15
In 1981 the Keniston bridge was removed by cranes and placed next to
it's current location for repairs. The bridge repairs needed to
happen quickly as the temporary location was only a few feet above
the water level. Any rise in water level would have swept the
Keniston covered bridge downstream.
