County Covered Bridge is located on Forest Rd in Greenfield NH and
Hancock NH and connects the two towns over the Contoocook River. GPS
coordinates are: N42.956697, W71.934813.
In 1936 the previous bridge that was located at this site was
destroyed by a flood.
County bridge was built in 1937 and is listed in the World Guide of
Covered Bridges (WGCB), number 29-06-02 and New Hampshire covered
bridge #8.
